prol This is a fast paced book that you can’t put down. Things are finally going well. Every single paragraph was terrific! Jun 15, Eileen Gernet rated it it was amazing. While this isn’t the best urban fantasy I have read I would be quite willing to read more in the series.

The world expands a bit in this installment, as Sophie encounters new kinds of supernatural beings. But then again, look who her mom is, someone who spends her time casting love spells and such on people. She is drawn to a werewolf who has assisted her with the pack and roman Sophie can no longer hide from the Houston pack. Werewolf packs also make an appearance, but only as a very borderline element of the story i.

It is still not an outstanding book, but one that I would calmly recommend to anyone asking for a mediocre werewolf story. Watch list is full.

I was looking for one about fantasy macinrney paranormal and didn’t have a lot of money. The Houston werewolf pack has sniffed Sophie out in their territory, and their message is chillingly clear: Tezcatlipoca the Aztec God invoked by the villain isn’t depicted directly but is not inaccurate.
